Luiz Fernando Alouche, 39, will lead Inglez Werneck’s labour practice after joining from Almeida Advogados, while Haroldo Del Rei Almendro, 43, joined David e Aniceto from Salusse Marangoni Advogados, a labour boutique.

David e Aniceto also added corporate lawyer Renata Antiquera, 46, from De Vivo, Whitaker e Castro Advogados and litigation and environment law practitioner Louise Emily Bosschart, 42, from Mattos Muriel Kestener Advogados. The hires come as David e Aniceto celebrates its fifth anniversary.

Other firms in Brazil have strengthened by promoting. Nunes & Sawaya Advogados, for example, added regulatory lawyer Teresa Gutierrez, 35, and civil law practitioner Bruno Matsumoto, 31, to the partnership. Meanwhile, Leandro Vilarinho Borges, 31, became a partner at Velloza & Girotto after a decade at the firm. As well as focusing on banking and finance, he will lead the real estate and civil law practice areas.

All appointments were made in the last four months.
