Graduated in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Master of Laws (LL.M) in Financial and Capital Markets Law from Insper-SP. Worked in the legal and compliance department of an asset manager with different strategies, including private equity, equities, wealth management, real estate, credit and hedge funds. He also worked in the legal department of a large financial conglomerate, providing legal advice for private banking, asset management and stockbrokers. He participated in regulatory reforms, especially CVM Instruction No. 554, CVM Instruction No. 555 and CVM Instruction No. 558. He was a member of the “Committee of Equity Managers” and the “Committee of Equity Funds” of ANBIMA – Associação Brasileira das Entidades dos Mercados Financeiros e de Capitais (Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association), between 2015 and 2016.
