Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidade Paulista, 2002. Postgraduate specialization (lato sensu) in Tax Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), 2006, and in Civil Procedure from the same institution, 2016.
He joined the firm in 2000 as an intern in the tax litigation practice.
Since 2002, he has practiced as a tax litigation attorney, with an emphasis on state and municipal taxes.
He became a partner in 2009 and currently coordinates the firm’s judicial tax litigation teams, appearing before state courts throughout Brazil and before the Superior Courts in Brasília.
He also serves as an advisor to financial-sector associations on matters involving repercussão geral (general repercussion) cases before the Superior Courts and on issues relating to the Brazilian Tax Reform as it affects consumer transactions.
