Quest is a Brazilian asset management firm

Velloza & Girotto Advogados Associados has helped Brazilian investment bank Banco BTG Pactual negotiate investment agreements with asset manager Quest Investimentos.

The value of the deal, which closed on 24 November, remains confidential. Freitas Leite Advogados Associados provided counsel to Quest Investimentos.

The negotiations were made through Quest Investimentos’ holding company, Quest Participações, which granted BTG a call option for 15 per cent of the asset manager’s stock capital, among other agreements.
